LOAD 14 - Car Show

Car Show wasn't the prompt for today, just my layout.  It was all about how digital scrappers can get inspiration from paper scrappers and vice versa.  I chose a layout in the LOAD211 Gallery from a paper scrapper that gave me inspiration for my layout today.

LOAD 13 - Kill "Maybe"

This was the quote Lain used for today's LOAD prompt and I really love it!
"You can't wait for inspiration, you have to go after it with a club."  ~ Jack London
So even though I'm not thrilled with my layout, I killed the "maybe" and produced my layout.

LOAD 12

I just couldn't bring myself to use the colorswatch for today's prompt.  I'm so not used to mixing those colors.  LOL  But I DID choose 1 color from it and used it to scrap a photo of Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Bob.  I hope they can remember what year and where this photo was taken so I can journal about it.

LOAD 10 - Writing

I loved today's prompt and Lain's way of beginning to improve your writing skills.  Journaling is the one thing I've tried to do more of on every layout..........telling my story and getting my memories on paper.

LOAD 8 - Buttons

Yes, the Layout-a-Day prompt was buttons.  I love using buttons as a "shelf" for my photos.  What a fun prompt yet again.  In the eight days I've been doing this challenge, I've managed to complete several layouts for the album I'm making for my children and grandchildren.  I'm soooooooo loving this!
